Single site surgery will allow Dr Land to operate through a single small incision (that’s why its called single site!). The incision in the patient umbilicus (belly button) is applicable to procedures such as hysterectomy and salpingoophorectomy (removal of uterus and or ovaries and tubes). This is the next evolution of minimally invasive surgery. The end result is virtually scar less surgery – quite incredible.
